Cherry Blossom-Themed Airbnb Apartment Opens in Harajuku, First Offering From MOSHI MOSHI ROOMS

MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON, the Harajuku-centric organization promoting news on Japan and famous for their yearly festival to which foreigners can attend free of charge, has taken its first step into the rental accommodation business with MOSHI MOSHI ROOMS.

Naturally, their first offering is in Harajuku, and the theme they have chosen is Japanese cherry blossoms, known as Sakura.

When you step up to the building entrance, you’ll be sure to notice the English MOSHI MOSHI ROOMS logo and, especially at night, MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON’s Japanese logo as a neon sign.

The Sakura room is on the 5th floor

The sakura motif is everywhere within the apartment, but nowhere is it more prominently expressed than in the towering flower monument that sprouts from the ground and blooms onto the bedroom ceiling, a perfect sight to see before dozing off in the king-sized bed.

At your bedside table, you’ll find guides to help you find your way around Harajuku and Tokyo in general.
Probably one of the more insta-worthy locations in the apartment, the comfy sofa has a neon sign above it with the kanji character for sakura 桜.
