New Japanese Hand Tattoo of Ariana Grande got Misspelled by Her and It Fully Says “BBQ Grill”
Good morning! Last night, Ariana Grande hopped on Instagram to reveal a photo of her new palm tattoo, which was supposed to say “7 Rings!” But alas, friends, it most certainly did not say “7 Rings.” Fans pointed out that the tattoo actually says “shichirin” which is a small Japanese barbecue grill. Halp.
Ariana has since deleted the photo, but Twitter exists for a reason:
for those who are confused, ariana grande got a tattoo on her hand in japanese intended to spell out “7 rings” and posted it on instagram (now deleted), but japanese people in the comments started saying how the REAL translation is bbq grill pic.twitter.com/rF0NvEa9Yv

As this ^ fan points out, it took about five seconds for Ariana’s Instagram to fill up with people explaining that her tattoo has a major misspelling. And obviously, the reaction has been…extreme:
Ariana Grande’s new tattoo “七輪” means Japanese style bbq grill, not 7 rings. 😭 If you want to know about 七輪, just google “SHICHIRIN” pic.twitter.com/HuQM2EwI62

Ariana tweeted and deleted a response to the misspelled tattoo, writing “Indeed, I left out ‘つの指’ which should have gone in between. It hurt like fuck n still looks tight. I wouldn’t have lasted one more symbol lmao. But this spot also peels a ton and won’t last so if I miss it enough I’ll suffer thru the whole thing next time.”
