AirJapan Announces Bangkok as First Route for New Low-Cost Carrier

The airline will operate the Narita-Bangkok route 6 times weekly starting February 9, 2024 using Boeing 787-8 aircraft in an all-economy configuration.
- Flight NQ1 will depart Narita at 5:55pm and arrive in Bangkok at 11:15pm
- Return flight NQ2 will leave Bangkok at 12:15am and arrive in Narita at 8:10am
The flights will not operate on Tuesdays northbound and Wednesdays southbound.
Fares and Services
AirJapan will offer 3 fare types – Simple, Standard and Select. Simple fares start at 15,500 JPY ($109) each way and do not include any extras. Standard fares start at 19,200 JPY ($135) and include seat selection and 1 checked bag. Select fares start at 23,800 JPY ($167) and add inflight meals.
The 324-seat cabin will feature 32 inches of pitch and Japanese faux leather seats with power ports. Inflight meals, snacks, drinks and amenities will be available for purchase. There will also be free streaming entertainment.
Future Expansion
AirJapan plans to launch more routes around Asia and operate longer international flights. The low-cost carrier will allow ANA to compete with rival Japan Airlines’ Zipair brand.
