KitKat Japan Releases Santa-Shaped Holiday Treats
KitKat lovers rejoice! Nestlé Japan has unveiled a new holiday edition of their iconic wafer chocolate: Santa-shaped KitKats. These festive bites will be sold in special holiday packaging across Japan just in time for Christmas.
The Holiday Santa KitKats feature the classic crispy wafer fingers coated in smooth milk chocolate, sculpted into the familiar shape of Santa Claus. His smiling face and red hat are perfectly represented in chocolate form.

Each Santa is individually wrapped, with six Santas packaged together in signature KitKat boxes decorated with holiday flair. For only ¥540 (~$3.60), this limited edition six pack makes for perfect stocking stuffers and white elephant gifts.
For KitKat collectors and holiday celebrators looking to go big, Nestlé is also offering two additional Santa-filled options. The Holiday Santa Tin includes seven Santas packaged in a decorative gift tin for ¥1,512 (~$10). Perhaps the ultimate Santa stash, the Holiday Santa Share Bag contains 12 jolly chocolate pieces for ¥1,080 (~$7).
KitKat also had more holiday characters back in 2019, but does not appear they are bringing them back this season.
The Holiday Santa KitKats are crispy, creamy, and chocolatey – everything you want from the classic KitKat taste. Their festive shape and packaging add to the seasonal delight.
These limited edition treats will be sold in convenience stores, select shops and malls, KitKat Chocolatory locations, and online until supplies run out. The easiest way to buy is from Rakuten here, also available on Amazon in the US.
As with any special release from KitKat Japan, the Santa KitKats are sure to disappear from shelves quickly. So be sure to grab these holiday chocolate Santas soon!
